This pivotal role will be responsible for managing the development, delivery and implementation of a new software application to support our client’s global contracts and procurement team. 

You will also be responsible for vendor management and for providing an influential, consultative and mentoring approach to the WA team to achieve overall organisational goals.

The successful individual will possess a strong commercial awareness, coupled with exceptional people management and communication skills. Your experience in managing a geographically distributed team and in maintaining team cohesiveness will be key to your success, in this dynamic and challenging position.

In addition, you would also have demonstrated experience in project management methodologies such as PRINCE 2 and database technologies, ideally MS SQL Server.

A PMP qualification would be favourably viewed.

A background and understanding of the mining and/or engineering industry is an added advantage but it is not essential. Your professional, self-driven and team oriented approach will further strengthen your application.
