The quality paradigm in industry has shifted from being product-focused to process-focused to customer-focus. The focus change has not stopped. With the developing understanding of quality, so the understanding of how quality is related to leadership, problem solving, organizational change and competitiveness has also developed.
Within the manufacturing industry, the move from “inspect-in” quality to “build-in” quality requires a major paradigm shift. It involves the change of the entire culture of the organization and hence the roles of both leaders and operators change. Likewise, in the PM environment, roles need to change to ensure our processes that are creating poor quality are eliminated.
The workshop will expand on understanding the customer and improving quality. Through interactive sessions attendees will learn how to apply process improvement tools.
