Changing Culture Through Project Coaching

A Project Manager role can be a lonely one when the project is under pressure and the
responsibility for the successful delivery starts becoming a weight on your shoulders. Who can you turn to? What can you do about turning the project around? Who may be able to help you without criticism? Well the answer may just be a Project Coach!

Project coaching is an extension to training, where Project Managers and team members can go and get independent and supportive guidance on project processes, tools, techniques and organisational procedures and policies. Sometimes a Project Manager just needs someone to be a sounding board or who may validate that the actions they are taking sounds right.

To sustain the benefits of Project Management Offices and create a drive culture embedded with best practice project management, a project coaching program can become a key part of maturing project management within an organisation.

This workshop discusses the roles and responsibilities of the project coach, and considers how a successful project coach programme can be implemented into your organisation to improve project performance and sustain interest in project management skills development and team work.
