Registered Education Provider
The WA Chapter is an official PMI® Registered
Education Provider (R.E.P.), which means that all training and
offers (and Chapter Meetings) provides direct
credits (Professional Development Units) towards gaining and
retaining PMI® certifications, such as the Project Management
Professional (PMP®). The Chapter offers training and professional
development in Project Management and related disciplines that
assist in developing the skills and knowledge of practicing Project
Managers and team members.
Starting with just 43 PMPs in 1984 then growing to 11,500 internationally in 1998; there are now over 260,000 PMPs (as at Feb 2008) throughout the world, and that number is growing rapidly, making the PMP the most recognised and desired project management certification in the world, by both project managers and their employers.
